Significant changes to Ladies Golf Evening at Bel Acres
After reviewing our operations over the past few years, we have decided to transition away from a designated Ladies Evening for the 2026 season.
Why the change?
The decision is primarily driven by a significant difference in revenue. Over the last three years, 68 participants signed up for Ladies Evening, but only 64% of the allotted tee times were utilized (excluding severe weather days). In comparison, 85% of available times are utilized during the same period on all other days of the week.
We have found that a fixed evening does not suit everyone's schedule, leading groups to play on different days. Additionally, our previous policies regarding transferable games and multi-year carry-overs reduced the urgency to use purchased rounds.
Package games previously purchsed are valid for 2026.
New Ladies 9-Hole Packages
To provide more flexibility, we are introducing 9-hole packages valid any day of the week after 5:00 PM:
- Pricing: $210 (Riding) / $160 (Walking) for 5 games.
- Purchase Limit: Maximum of three packages (15 games) per person.
- Terms: Games are non-transferable and must be used within the season.
- Booking: Golfers are responsible for booking and canceling their own tee times. You may book up to 7 days in advance.
- Start Date: Passes are valid from May 1 until the end of the golf season.
- No-Show Policy: No-shows will have one game deducted from their package.
Season-Long Competition
We are pleased to offer prizes for the top three Low Net golfers and one overall Low Gross winner (based on the 10 best scores out of 10–15 rounds played). To qualify, you must play a minimum of 10 rounds during the season.
Handicaps for the Low Net competition will be calculated based on the scorecards submitted throughout the year. We ask all participants to return their scorecards to the Pro Shop following each round. We will send monthly email updates recapping the standings from May through September.
